All the more prominent characters that will appear in Sheik&Sheba. I felt like doing a line-up of the characters, so. The sketch came about in class. Ciao!
Love the song and the animation. <3
Funny couple of shorts of Harry Potter from David Stodolny who hails from Dreamworks Animation. Love the bunny transformation.
Though my favorite scene is ‘once upon a december’, I also love this one (excuse the bad quality) because of all historical references and cameos. Josephine Baker, Sigmund Freud, August Rodin, Claude Monet, Charles Lindenbergh, Gertrude Stein, Maurice Chevalier, Van Gogh, probably more. Not to mention flappers! <3

Lotte Reiniger, an under appreciated German animator from the 1920s and on. She is really the only female animator of note, and created the first full length animation (before Disney, mind you), called ‘The Adventures of Prince Achmed’ in 1926. Unfortunately a lot of work was lost during the war.
She’s a big inspiration for me. I am in love with silhouettes and shadow puppetry, which she borrows inspiration from. Early stop motion at its finest, not to mention she used a multi-plane camera before Iwerks!
The new Looney Tunes Show is actually pretty good - this is one of my favorite’s. You get to see Granny during WWII as a spy! The humor and animation get better with each new episode, definitely worth a watch. They’re all on youtube so you can take a peek!

I think i’ll redo this old turnaround some. For the Songbird short, one day. :I
“He’s always making the expression that he’s drawing… he’s making the expression even more than what he’s drawing. We didn’t set this up, he’s really doing this.”
